Eating breakfast can make a difference in your health and mood. Research has concluded that children who don’t eat breakfast lack energy and the ability to concentrate. Adults who don’t eat breakfast can be affected this way as well. You need to eat something when you start your day, whatever time that may be. It is easy these days to run out the door in the morning without having anything to eat. We lead such busy lives that it requires effort to add breakfast into our routine. Breakfast doesn’t have to be a certain kind of food. Leftovers, a quick bowl of cereal, or a piece of fruit will provide your body with the fuel it needs to get going. Food items that are considered “grab-n-go” are very helpful in starting your day. Some of these items may include homemade trail-mix, low-fat yogurt, and toast with peanut butter. Start your day right – fuel your body!
